Summer Break

Our last after school "Social Space" club before

the summer holidays will be on Thursday 14th July from 3:30 - 5pm. We'll be back in September, of course, but until then we're going to give our wonderful staff and volunteers a well-earned break.

We have had a fantastic summer term after school at The Box and it has been a privilege to welcome over 100 young people into our clubs over the last three months.

We will be posting details of summer activities at The Box and elsewhere in the Epping area over the next few days, so do keep checking back here and, of course, you can follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for all our latest news.

True Colours - New for September!

True Colours is a new after school club starting in September.

The club is just for new Year 7s and aims to support young people with the transition from primary to secondary school. We'll be using a series of creative activities and games to explore some of the issues you might face when you start a new school and encourage new friendships in a fun and relaxed space.

True Colours will be on Fridays from 3:30 - 4:30pm every week from 16th September.

After School Social Space Returns

We're excited to be opening our After School Social Space again from 28th September!

We will be open every Tuesday and Thursday during term time, from 3:30 - 5pm, welcoming all young people in years 7 - 11.

It will be great to see some familiar faces back again and if you've never been before bring your friends and come and see what's on offer:

• Chill with your mates, listen to music or challenge someone to a game of pool.

• Come into the kitchen for toast, hot chocolate and, of course, a chat with one of our youth workers.

• Catch up with your homework - we've got quiet areas to work in with laptops and printers. Oh, and of course our youth workers are ready to help if you're struggling with anything...

• Try something new - there will always be a craft activity for you to have a go at.

Although many covid restrictions have been lifted and we're hoping everything feels "back to normal" we will still be taking some extra precautions such as making sure all surfaces are properly sanitised and encouraging young people to use hand sanitiser regularly.
