Epping
Churches host worship day for 140 year 8 students The
Box provided one of the venues as Epping Churches hosted 140 year 8
students from St. John's School for a full day exploring different ways of
worship. Organised
by St. John's School Chaplaincy Team, the day kicked off in St. John's
Church with a huge Labyrinth - offering students over 20 practical
experiences of worship ranging from a giant graffiti prayer wall to
explorations of self-image. Students
then attended several workshops before bringing their experiences back
into the church for a final act of worship. The Box provided the venue for
the drama and mime workshop for 30 students led by professional mime
artist Ken Wylie. |
